Re: Animated Arc Trooper Updated 6-25-11

Nice fan set up. I know the one I tried to rig didn't circulate air so much as blast it to one spot, which was almost worse than stale and non moving air.

The build looks good. I havent seen many animated clones, but it's pretty cool.

Re: Adam's RC

The weathering is pretty good. Sharp lines on a helmet are bound to get scraped quick and easy. You almost never grab the same place twice on it. I've been out of the world for a spell, but goo to see some progress!

Re: Imperial Officer- WIP

E6000 is holding my Aurra Sing blaster together just fine. Even after a tumble down the steps at the Whitecaps event this summer, other than divets and chipped paint, nothing. Locktite works probably a bit better, but it smells to high heavens.

Re: Working /w Fiberglass

Its easier to show. I wish I would have taken a quick video to post. It's mainly a matter of a steady spray and warming the can in warm water. When did I get Master added to my name? I think Jolly started it...? I had heard of warming the can before, but never using water.. Sounds int...

Re: A rebel bucket?!? the a-wing! pic heavy!

Not too shabby! All I can see is veryminor smoothing work here and there, but it's only the anal retentive bit in me that even bothers. I dont know much(re: anything) about A-Wings or their pilots, but I can say this:

Great looking sculpt man!

Re: Imperial Officer- WIP

Very well done on the holster! The dye job is especially nice, I always have issues with those, and yours came out beautifully. The lining is also a very, very nice little extra.

Re: RC Armor Party for Helmet repair at Jolly's

I have to check base, but I may have a friend wanting to come.. He attended one once and seemed to enjoy helping Foo with the Sev helmet, and is looking into a TIE pilot.

The chuck DC ain't bad, and if it does look awkward in your hands, i'll take it off your hands and you can get a Talon or such, they are a bit smaller. Cause i'm that good of a friend. :D

Re: RC Armor Party for Helmet repair at Jolly's

I'll be there in tow... I may not have the katarn yet, but I need to get familiar with the parts... And I am very good at repairing helmets.. Just ask Adam, i've fixed the mandalorian helmet of mine 3 times now.. I can still smell the bondo and fiberglass in my nightmares.. Was looking for something...
