FS: Hyperfirm DLT-19 (Sold)

Hello all, I'd like to start on a new costume so I'm going to sell my Hyperfirm DLT-19 to help fund it. I'd like to sell it to someone in the Garrison before I offer it legion wide. I'm asking $225 plus shipping or I can drop it off during a local event in the metro Detroit area. I will throw in the...

Re: Visting DMC Children's Hospital

Please get more information and then create an event thread. I was hoping to find a day and time when two people were available and interested rather than creating an event that no one will reply to. I've provided the information I've got so far from the hospital and there was interest in the idea ...

Re: Questions about body armor...

Thanks, fellas! I am considering just going with velcro for the belt attachment to the body, then like you said, move up to using snaps if necessary. Just be sure to use heavy duty Velcro. If you're attaching it to the cloth belt you're probably going to be replacing it every once in a while. It us...

Re: Questions about body armor...

I actually have both snaps and Velcro on mine. The snaps are more towards the side and the velcro was added after this photo on the front and on the back to keep the belt from sliding down. As for attaching the belt to the canvas, I believe I just used pop rivets with the covers over them. The Chica...

I have a PVC pipe in my armor bin for the handle and the blade is attached to the inside of the armor bin cover with a twist wrap.

Are you having trouble with the strapping or other parts of the costume? I'm not in the GR area but if you have specific questions, please feel free to shoot me a PM.

Re: Body Building for TK

What specific part are you stuck on? There are many different ways to attach the torso pieces so it's really a matter of preference. I would check some of the build threads on the FISD and I would even suggest you start your own build thread there. When you post pictures of your progress on it, you'...

That will be a tough one to source. Unless you're going to buy an actual Sterling scope you'll probably have to go the Doopy Doo route.
