Hi. Sorry, but our costumes are our personal property, some costing $5,000 or more and we don't like to loan them out to people. Plus with the virus going around, it would be a bad idea anyways. :)
This, plus they're also built custom to our bodies.

Re: Hello from Grand Rapids

Welcome!

I'm sure we'll have some armor parties once it's a bit warmer out. Have you looked at the vendor lists on White Armor, and have you joined any build groups on Facebook?

Re: Recommendation for shirt maker

I work for a screen printing company here in Grand Rapids.

Be careful choosing a business as many of them are simply brokers that sell your order to an actual screen printing shop and pocket the difference (source: about 80% of our business :D ).

Re: I just submitted application to 501st website....

I just added some updated pics to my FISD TK pre-approval thread. I fixed the items mentioned I last email sent. I realize that you guys went from MCCC to holiday weekend back to back. I’m trying to be patient, but am anxious to join the ranks of the empire. Hope to hear from you soon. Long live th...

Well, it's been awhile but I have made a lot of progress since my last post. I have the full costume assembled and only need to make some minor adjustments. Below are some pictures. In know it is not the best lighting but I wanted to get some shots in before nightfall and before the bad weather thi...

Re: Need TK build advice

I dug up a photo from when I was at the same point as you. Here's the side view of what my armor looked like before cutting an angle on the butt plate, and putting everything together for approval. Screen Shot 2019-03-08 at 7.53.19 AM.png I'm not familiar with FX but it seems kind of oddly shaped. ...

Re: Need TK build advice

1. Yeah, more or less. When doing fitting you're going to want to tape those together on the side for the correct fitting. 2. Usually it kind of sits on top but overlaps in the corners in some cases. I've never seen a back plate that's shaped like yours, though. So it's difficult to make any recomme...

Re: TK Helmet fan system recommendations?

I would recommend either Henry's Helmet Fans, or just get some cheap squirrel fans and do 'em yourself.

The latter would be the cheapest way to go. Just buy some small fans and a USB adapter.
