I use black nomex flight gloves. The longer cuff tucks nicely into the forearm armor.

Yeah, she fits everything into the same tote.

From what I've seen, some armor kits do have the plastic film cover and some do not.

Sweet! I don't think we have an ANH style Vader in the Garrison, yet! As far as numbers, people use all sorts of stuff. Important dates like kid's birthdays or wedding anniversaries or whatnot. Some others use combinations of cool things they piece together. Other people seriously do not care at all...

We're also having an armor party at the How-To Halloween event at the Lansing Center Oct.13-14. It's sort of a Halloween themed Maker Faire, and last year instead of just having a 501st display as usual, we started working on armor parts, and people seemed to like it....so that's our plan this year....

They did not troop it in Cincy. Each museum decides by themselves if they wanted costumers there. LFL has nothing to do with it.

Thanks all for your advice! I bought a couple Dickies shirts in hopes of getting a good size- I think I am going to keep the shirt for events only but stick a couple patches on a jean jacket because I like to show off my membership :wink: Many of us do jackets and not patch shirts, too.
