Re: A question regarding non approved costumes at events

He's asking to come in a RL costume, so he needs the OK from the appropriate state captain (either Dave Sage or Kevin Johnson).

If the $$ was there (or if you take payments) I would be interested.

Glad to see you are on the mend. Best of luck with your continued recovery!!!

Re: Sgtsuneded's Vader WIP

Having trooped over 100 events as both Vader and Chewie - it's not even close!!!! Other than the stilts, my Chewie costume is a snap compared to Vader!!!

Re: Sgtsuneded's Vader WIP

My suggestion is to post those photos on the Sith Lord Detachment forums (if you haven't already). They would be much better able to say what's acceptable and what's not.

You are more than welcome to post some photos of you costumed up here as well. People can see where you are and let you know if they see anything glaring that might be an issue.

Re: Is this a costume for trooping?

Since it's for the 9-year old Anakin, you wouldn't need the lightsaber (which contrary to what this guy would have you believe is NOT worth $200 by itself). There are currently no RL standards for this costume (I presume because it's intended for a child who would not be eligible for membersh...

Re: Got My First TK!

When you get it approved, you will not get another number, just another 2-letter designation (like the SL for your Vader).

Re: Imperial Officer Forum

PM Rome (Crimson on the forums here).
He was Detachment Leader for the IOC for quite some time, so he may have some ideas as to either who to contact or what the problem might be.

Cleaning an FX blade

Just picked up a Yoda FX saber, but the blade has some "battle damage." Anyone one know a good and safe way to get scuff marks off the blade???

Re: Imperial Officer Suit

Not that you can't do a TK, but a Biker Scout is an outstanding alternative for the smaller trooper.
