Re: Tusken At Work
Tubby Tusken suggested some paints that I'm gonna try to pick up this week but after that I'm working on the gaffi and accessories until a friend I have can do my robes for me (cant sew!). It was pretty much suggested that I put up pictures to show my progress so everyone knows I'm not a flake.

Hey,
I just finished fitting and wrapping my boots for a Tusken Raider costume. They're still unstained but all the rest is done! Now to finish the gaffi!!

Re: I Give Up!! Seamstress' please!!!
well I don't know how to sew, that hurts, and i don't have a sewing machine so it takes forever. I have no idea how I'm going to make the hood or cut it to lay right. I was just using kitchen shears with a cheaper fabric to practice but it just keeps coming out like garbage. I know realistically I s...

I can't cut or stitch, I might as well be trying to build a rocketship. Is there anyone in the Grand Blanc / Pontiac area that's willing to make one up for me? Of course I'll pay for time and materials but frankly I don't have any materi...

fabric for a jawa?
anyone know what kind of fabric I should use for a jawas robe? a few sites i went to suggested burlap but i think that'll look terrible, feel awful and be hot as blazes. i thought about making it out of the same material "a-shirts" or beaters are made out of but i was told that material is...

Re: Jawa Costume
Ok, I admit weakness. I'm making a Jawa costume too, did you have to make the cloak or did you find it somewhere? The rest I have done, nice blaster btw, but I can't seem to find anything but cloaks that're more fit for Jedi than Jawa.
