Re: Episode 7 Cast Announced!

I am excited to see a lot of the old cast!!! The movies would not be the same without them. Look forward to seeing what Disney and Abrams will do. Not sure if anyone else saw, but sadly a lot of the expanded universe might not be in it :( The Thrawn trilogy was one of my favorites. Hopefully there w...

Re: Nearly Finished Armor

You email Ripcode, the GML. The FISD doesn't approve costumes, but does approve the above and beyond programs EIB and Centurion. Thanks. I attempted Centurion standards, but as this is my first armor I do not think my modifications are proper. I will add a few more photos here in a higher resolutio...

Re: Nearly Finished Armor

My upper legs do have a belt on them that I wrap around, just not the ideal comfort for walking. I was thinking some kind of suspender design. I can re-upload the pictures as a bigger file if needed. I will be taking more with in the next week or so and hopefully send in for application the first we...

Nearly Finished Armor

Hello all, Below are pictures of my nearly finished armor. After a few failed attempts I went through RS Propmasters for screen accuracy. I still need to add on my holster and get the shins to fit a little better. Also I am looking for ideas for attaching my upper legs ?? Let me know what you think :)

Re: About to start NE build....

I too am working on an NE build with a RS prop cap. The two forum posts that I found most helpful to me thus far are these: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/10434-pandatroopers-am-build-threadam/ http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23285-ne-armor-build-thread/ Pandatroopers is of an older AM ...

Re: Huge Fan; Just need a little help if possible.

Best place to contact (if you don't mind the price and shipping over seas) is RS Propmasters out of the UK. That is where I got my helmet from and for a little extra cost they can assemble and paint the Helmet for you. Here is the link. http://www.rspropmasters.com/ There email is on the bottom of t...

Re: Where to start, NE armor build...

I started on the Biceps a little today and was looking at strapping for the the chest/upper back and shoulder bells as well. My plan of attack is work from the head down. Not sure if that is the best way to go or not but it was just my thinking.

Where to start, NE armor build...

Greetings all, I have received my NE armor in the mail today and have all of my needed parts for assembly except a canvas belt. I have been looking at pictures and other tutorials on FISD sight, but still am at a loss for a start. I already have a helmet kit completed from RS Props. If possible is t...

Re: AM/ANH Stunt Build.

Sorry for not posting pictures sooner. Here is my finished Helmet. Please note that I bought the helmet from RS Propmasters for a better movie quality. I still need a few touch ups here and there and a lot of work on the inside. Figured out how to shrink the pictures :D

AM/ANH Stunt Build.

Hello everyone, I am getting started with my build with in the next week or so. After much research I decided to buy and Armor Master LITE kit and ordered the Helmet kit from RS (the helmet is more screen accurate). I am looking forward to the build and I will be sure to post pictures to show progre...

Re: Armor RS prop master vs theT/MC

I Ordered a Helmet kit from RS a little bit back and they stated it came with everything. Once it comes in I will be working on it and posting pics when I am done. Thanks for all the help thus far and I will keep everyone posted as I work.

Re: Armor RS prop master vs theT/MC

I do plan on ordering from RS, but another question comes to mind that I did not think about till now. Do the kits come with Lens for the helmet or is that a separate Buy ??

Re: Armor RS prop master vs theT/MC

Thanks for the info. Talking with a few others on FISD I am looking at doing the PVC for the shine and extra flex. Not ordering just yet, still researching a bit and waiting for payday ;) I guess this question depends on the person but do most order everything at once or the armor and basic pieces a...

Re: Armor RS prop master vs theT/MC

Thanks for the info, my mind has now been changed to getting the PVC. The only thing I am still worried about is getting the sizing right. RS did send me a size chart, but again being a relatively small guy I am looking at how to do my measurements right. I am searching FISD right now for a link as ...

Re: Armor RS prop master vs theT/MC

Again I have been incontact with them and the price is 915 Euros. This includes the strap kit as well. I am still working on my measurements to send in. As with the PVC vs ABS, does the PVC hold up as well as ABS ? I like how it would have more shine than the ABS. At the same time I can always polis...

Tactical Boots ?

I have been doing some research on boots and read on the approval requirements that you need a flat sole, so I am not sure where this boot would qualify. It is made by Danner, and I have owned several pair in the past (not this model though) and were them for work. Again not sure with these work but...

Re: Armor RS prop master vs theT/MC

I actually got a hold of RS prop masters and got my shipping questions answered, and this seems to be the company I am leaning towards buying a kit.
