Re: 442nd WIP
Bondo spot filler is what I use for the small stuff and feathering out the edges. I only use the sludge for filling in major gaps/seams.

Re: 442nd WIP
It sucks when you put your first few coats of paint on then see you need to fill in more holes and refix some seams. I looked at if I could just hide some of it with weathering, but the more I looked at it the more I knew I couldn't hide it all. With that in mind, I had to redo the thighs and fill s...

Re: 442nd WIP
Ok, it's been a few days since I updated this build so let's see if I can catch up. Spent a lot of the weekend working on finishing the legs by sanding off the sludge and smoothing out the transitions. Also finished the biceps and forearm, just sanding it down to get ready for paint. http://i1157.ph...

Re: 442nd WIP
Was out tonight looking around and came across these. I know they are not the nonex flight gloves, but could they work? http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Clone%20Trooper/A419CD7A-9031-4934-A566-E1A04D758B43-1688-000004DF5C65C6F9_zpsb163072d.jpg http://i1157.photobucket.com/alb...

Re: 442nd WIP
NEED HELP!! I'm having a problem with my thighs hiting my cod when I bend my leg up (like walking up stairs). I'm looking at either trimming the bottom up, so it sits lower, or trim the top down so it gives me a little more between them. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Clone...

Re: 442nd WIP
Well, have most of the parts done (just need to finish the chest/back) and wanted to try everything on to see how they fit. After having it all on, I found out where I need to trim some stuff up for a better fit. Need to trim some on the cod (just off the returns). The thighs need to have the return...

Re: 442nd WIP
Had time today with the great weather to put a couple coats of paint on the hands and shoulders. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Clone%20Trooper/B4AE4FFB-C1F7-40B0-A720-7C7298708127-912-0000008EC887A3EC_zps107baada.jpg Also glued up the thighs. Just need to let them dry, the...

Re: 442nd WIP
On a much better note, the thighs have gone great. Hoping to have the legs done this week so I can start filling in the seams. Then it's on to finishing the chest and back.

Re: 442nd WIP
No, it really doesn't bother me. I was more concerned about something like that not getting me approved. With what Ripcode said, I'm leaning more to leaving it alone and moving on to the next parts.

Re: 442nd WIP
Thanks Ripcode. Now I have to decide if I want to see about graphing a section in to match, or just leave it.

Re: 442nd WIP
Ok, I have a question about my cod and butt piece. One side is ok. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Clone%20Trooper/52DB011F-28D5-42D4-ADFC-F11EA9FA1A5D-13130-00000FC7033C5CE1_zpse8875b49.jpg While this side does not match. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC5...

Re: 442nd WIP
Got my first chance to try out the Sludge technique last night on one of my biceps. I had a section that was off when fitting and I knew I would have to do something. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Clone%20Trooper/182E8DFD-DE47-49C4-9984-B3821994602D-10073-00000C087B02A825_...

Re: 442nd WIP
Ok, was able to get my snaps installed to connect the cod and butt. Man, what pain in my ass that was trying to get the snaps to secure to the plastic. I can see why everyone uses Velcro on the back for help. Has anyone come up with an easier way to make this connection with out it coming apart whil...

Re: 442nd WIP
Trying out the ab along with the cod and butt. Looking for how it should fit. How snug do you want the cod and butt? With the ab on I can not sit down with out the cod hitting the ab. How much return do you need on the cod and butt? Let me know what everyone thinks. Any help is appreciated. http://i...

Re: 442nd WIP
The ABS glue worked great. This should allow me to finish up the forearms and bicep a little quicker.

Re: 442nd WIP
Is the ABS glue the same as the glue for doing ABS pipe? Something I can pick up at Home Depot, Lowes, or a local hardware store?

Re: 442nd WIP
Well, looks like I may have to try something different on this part. It came apart again this morning. Working on cleaning it up, then I'll give it another go.
