anyone have a Sandblaster?

Hey Dee Oh I was hoping that someone has a sandblaster I could borrow/use/etc. My belt pouches need to be repainted (again) and I would like to get the old paint off before attempting a third paint job. My pouches are rubber and I painted them with Rustoleum Flexseal. I thought I prepped them correc...

Re: The JOYS of dealing with Ebay

Sigh of releaf (I can't believe the releaf is spelled right)

Ebay just made a determination, in my favor. Thet determined that the package was delivered to the wrong address so I'm getting a full refund.

Now I have to make a trip to Westland to purchase the Husky Tool Box that I found on Letgo.

Re: TK Armor sizing HELP

Well Thats interesting... I was following your advice Mike, and I discovered that the top edges did not line up a long the front seam. I pulled the edges apart and discovered that a 1/2" was missing. I looked through my scraps and there was enough on the drops t account for the deviation. Oh We...

TK Armor sizing HELP

Hey Dee Oh Short Story - I'm having a bit of trouble sizing the arms on my TK. It doesn't help that I don't know what I'm doing. And it also doesn't help that I can't find anything detailing how the process is supposed to work (they all seem to focus on construction, not sizing) Longer Story - I tri...

Re: The JOYS of dealing with Ebay

As of right now, I have not heard back from this seller. So I started the process to get a refund by reporting that I have yet to receive this item.

The Next stage happens on Thursday.

Anyone can plan armor parties anytime they want.
My problem is not a desire to host an armor party, but lack of space.

it looks like I must motivate myself to finish this armor

Re: DETROIT metro area TK armor party

I still say pick an area and everyone helps each other do all that to completion. Arms or legs most likely. Next armor party move onto the next section, etc. my goal was not to bring the entire armor kit, if possible. The idea for me is, the less parts I move the less parts I have could misplace.

Re: DETROIT metro area TK armor party

So what is the plan?

Everyone work on a specific part at the same time? if so, which part?

Or, is everyone going to work on whatever they want?

Hey Dee Oh

I've heard mention of an armor party to work on these kits.

I want to make sure that I don't miss out on the fun.

On a seperate, but related note... I have a box of plastic parts in my living room that is calling to me. I'm not sure how much longer I can resist.
