The resin hook gives way a 1/4 way up the building, the aluminum hook might get you 3/4 of the way so your fall can be more dramatic.

Well, I finally got around to modding my newer Kenner blaster using the folding stock from the vintage one. I was going to get fancier... but decided for now, just to get the stock transferred over. I wanted the folding stock to work, and I wasn't sure how exactly to do that, so I looked around the ...

I scrapped this idea, although it might work better with thinner foam. I found it better to put a bit of foam on the inside forearm, up near the inside elbow area. Having the foam on the outside piece, was just not feeling comfortable. Like trooping is actually 'comfortable'

I've seen this backwards built helmet somewhere online, I'm actually amazed he's attempting to sell without trying to fix it, lol!

Well, I got the blasters, and they are fine for being as old as they are (30 years!). The stormtrooper rifle folding stock, is definately not 'realistic', but I can work with it. I'll most likely make it solid (non-moving) on the newer Kenner blaster, as it's rather rickety feeling, and who knows if...
