What details seem muddy? The instructions at 501st.com seem pretty detailed, but I may be blind to unclear details since I know the process.
If there's something that needs to be corrected or clarified, please let us know.

Re: speaker placement help!!!!
Ah, yes. That's the problem. The RS amp is very rudimentary, and that feedback is unavoidable unless it's mounted to your belt. I've had several of those and have tried numerous combinations of placement, equipment, and sound dampening insulation methods. Nothing really works well because it's a ver...

Re: speaker placement help!!!!
If the volume of the speaker is up too high, that can also cause feedback. Is the mic multidirectional or unidirectional?

And contrasting color. If you have white armor, don't stand in front of a white background.

At 5'8", my standard responses were "nope, I'm just the right height to hit you in the center of gravity" or "nope, screen just makes it look that way." Or if I'm really feeling mean, "your mom didn't think so." ;) When I was walking around with 1440 who's somewher...

Re: A question regarding non approved costumes at events
PM Dankelzaga , as he's leading the charge on this event (assuming you're referring to FCBD). For the smaller events, it tends not to be as big a deal, but it's still just polite to give a heads-up first. For the big events, like the sporting events, much more formal approval is required because th...

Re: Imperial Officer Forum
PM Rome (Crimson on the forums here). He was Detachment Leader for the IOC for quite some time, so he may have some ideas as to either who to contact or what the problem might be. Nope. I haven't been attached to IOC in any measure of official capacity since I stepped down as DL/DX/Webmaster about ...

And a lot less poorer by avoiding spending your money on things you shouldn't
Yes, post pics if you can get it from the seller, as well as the seller's asking price. If he's never heard of the 501st, then I'll agree that he's most likely asking way too much for a piece of garbage.

Re: Beginning ATA Build
Score-n-snap work better for larger pieces and straighter edges. Using a Dremel alone is, to me, a lesson in futility and uneven lines. Although it's murder on my fingers, I use a pair of scissors that were designed specifically for cutting plastic. Always cut MUCH less than you think you need and u...

Re: Going to "attempt" to start a TK build.
Neck seal is easy enough to sew for oneself (because if I did it, anyone can! ;)). For gloves, I just use black gardening/utility gloves from the hardware store and rip off any tags and brand name labels that shouldn't be there, or black them out with a Sharpie. My undersuit is a long sleeve compres...
