So when should I come over?Mr Fett wrote:The movie style armor will take longer to do than your original FX set, because of the butt-joint seam method on the arms and legs. But it's not really bad. Would take a few days worth of solid work to build your set.

Anyone having an armor party soon?
I have a new ATA stormtrooper kit that's been sitting in my basement for two months. It's been a long time since I've assembled armor, and I know I don't have all the tools needed.
Honestly, I'd like to commission the helmet out. I've tried a couple people and they're too busy.

Do we have a separate 2014 topic that I'm missing or have we not started keeping count yet?
USA Hockey raised $4,250 for C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.
$1,240 was raised at Cherry Capital Comic Con for Walking With Giants Foundation.

When I get the short trooper question (I'm just over 6' in my TK) from an adult failing to be original, I respond back "Aren't you a little old to be living in your parent's basement?"

Derek- thanks for info. So the Legion Charity Officer forgot to include the GLG's 2012 totals, as we should be listed as the #3 garrison for $ raised.

Why is the GLG totals not listed for 2012 or 2013 with the 501st totals? http://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 8&start=20

Once the remaining Cherry Capital Con patches are sold, I'll get you that total.

Re: Michigan 501st - CHARITY HISTORY
Send a pm to sportsanchor about the Whitecaps- they usually raise $3-5K.
I repeatedly tried getting numbers from PHFF hockey last season, and they never answered me. Asking an event contact that we need the total just for our Legion-wide annual record keeping almost always works.

Check with Brent, "sportsanchor" on how much the Griffins & Whitecaps made. They should be several thousands each and might be listed in their respective topics.

For College graphics, you can use window clings. That's what I use for my Wolverines Trooper: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wolverin ... 3181215644

We should probably have a Celebration VI event listed in Major Events instead to combine the multiple topics in various areas of the message board.

Re: Looking for yellow tinted lenses (mirror finish prefered)
I got a green visor, for my Gree, that they use for football helmets. I found it on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GOLD-Football-Eyeshield-Visor-INSERT-Under-Armour-/250976571461?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6f5e9045 I like that- especially since it has a football connection! Becaus...
