Re: To Maul or Opress???
I was thinking of doing a Maul myself, since I shave my head already.... Just can't do the required red contacts tho... And I agree about the notoriety. Star Wars geeks and 8 year olds who watch the Clone Wars will know who Opress is. The rest will be confused. And no... You don't have to be 8 to wa...

Re: Suiting Up.....
If you need help with a tricky button or something, someone will gladly help. But with practice, you will be able to get in and out of the Rmor by yourself fairly quickly. Here is a good video I found on the FISD site when I was done with my build and it helped tremendously... http://www.youtube.com...

Re: TK questions on the bucket
I have very little movement in my bucket up and down. The fact of the matter is, that the TK limits mobility all over, not just in the helmet. Wait until you try and go up or down stairs... Most guys end up bending forward to see what is down below your line of vision.. Opening up the hole in the bo...

My Proposed Generic Jedi Costume!
Hello. I know most people post photos and updates of costume build progress, but I am going to make a run for it and try and have a full blown Generic Jedi ready before Star Wars Reads Day at the beginning of October. This requires me ordering most if not all the parts at once, probably in the next ...

Re: Help for a recruit wanting to join the 501st?
I know squat about TIE Pilots, and less about Tuskens, but I live next door in White Lake if I can help out in any way...I live in the Walled Lake/Commerce Township area for what it's worth.

Re: Obi-ron's TK building project - ESB
OK, I think I get it. So, that means the armor should be straight from the elbow down to the wrist, and it doesn't curl underneath? Kind of like a tube? Yes. But only the wrist side. That most likely was a necessity since it would be near impossible to slide your hand through the wrist hole if you ...

Make sure you get the ESB version. Has different number of tube stripes. Also make sure ATA helmet is listed as compatible. Most likely is.

Re: Obi-ron's TK building project - ESB
I bought the least expensive cordless Dremmel. Went cordless so had more freedom, like using outside. It can make a mess... Got it at Lowes I think. $60 maybe? Can't remember for sure.

Re: Supplies
Not sure what size rivets to use... when I bought my rivet set they only came in one width, but in an assortment of lengths. I used diffenent lengths for different applications. The industrial velcro and rivets can be purchased at Home Depot and/or Lowes. You will need a pop rivet gun too. E6000 glu...

Re: Obi-ron's TK building project - ESB
Make sure you have access to a Dremmel, this was the most useful purchase I made when trimming my armor! I've just recently got a Hyper-firm E11, after spending the previous year with a modified Hasbro.... I highly recommend getting a Hyper-firm. My Dremmel was involved in about 98% of my build... ...
