New trooper looking for boots and a blaster

Post by icejedi08 »

I just ordered my Anovos stormtrooper kit but I still am going to need boots and a blaster. One place I've seen for boots is Imperialboots.com that looked pretty good but they don't have 8 1/2 and they don't do returns which is concerning to me. Blasters on the other hand I'm having an even harder time finding. From everything I've read I should stay off ebay and etsy but doing that has left me with few options. It doesn't help that I cant settle on either an e-11 or something larger like a t-21. Does anyone have any other specific suggestions? Thanks

whitearmor.net is THE place to go to for info on building a stormtrooper costume. Anything you need can be found there.

I got my boots from TK Boots (http://www.tkboots.com/) and my blaster was a Hasbro mod. Definitely check out the FISD forums at whitearmor.net.

I'm real happy with the e-11 kits I put together from doopydoos.com, but they do take a little Dremel finesse to better shape a few of the parts, and grind out a few areas to replace with actual parts (like the allen screws on the barrel).
"Uh, no disrespect intended sir, but whaddya mean, 'If it's locked move on to the next one.' Dontcha think locking the door's the first thing they're gonna do?"

Tkboots is the way to go in my opinion. They are beautiful. I also think they only do whole sizes and rightfully so.

As far as a blaster, I'm a hyperfirm lover.
