Event nomenclature question

I am trying to figure out what {UC] vs {DB] means in front of an event? I notice that UC seems to be associated with charities and DB with appearances at comic conventions. Can someone clarify further? I haven't been able to find explanation in the boards anywhere.

UC = Unconfirmed
DB = Database

When we received an event request it is initially listed as UC. Once someone commits to being the Event Coordinator (EC), the event is confirmed and added to the event database.

Thanks for clarifying!
