Jolly,

How is it going?? Have not seen anything here lately..

Did you get in touch with woodchuck lately on your DC-17? He is here in Michigan for the next month or so, we had dinner with them a week ago when Tonka and Jade were up here on spring break and we talked about your gun... And if it is done and paid for I can pick it up from him if he is finished with it and give it to you at MCCC... just let me know what I can do to help out..

ttyl,

ZOD

Jolly and I worked on his armor this weekend. We glued his thighs, biceps and shins together, sanding the helmet smooth (he had a weird wrinkling of the resin on hi helmet) and I got him started on his gauntlets. I also gave him a crash course in spraying primer, mixing and using Bondo and the spot filler, as well as using the palm sander to clean the edges. He's got his work cut out for him (literally, in some cases :D ) and I should be making the trek back up to Flint this Saturday. Anyone care to join me? This Saturday, we will be wring and assembling the pack, possibly starting to spray the white base coats and fitting the chest (which Jolly will be riveting the hinges on this week).

I guess I'm making my job as the Republic Commando Advisor at CT.net a little more hands on, huh?

BTW, Commander Chris should always be quoted in all caps!

WE NEED TO BECOME BETTER!

Hey! Guess what? JASTER was up my way here in Flint! Uh, . . . I guess you know that already.
I've been sanding, Bondoing and spraying and totally forgotten about the pics! I'll make sure to take some when JASTER returns.
The PA instructions got a little confusing but I was straightened out on which direction to take. As I build more confidence in the assembly process I can see this project moving along at a pretty good clip.

And, as far as my D17, I haven't been contacted yet for the final cost. I'm ready to roll as soon as WoodChuck's run is complete.

And thank you for your assistance ZOD! Let's see how far along WoodChuck is in his assembly. (Whew! I talk as anal as FIXER!)

If I have nothing going on this weekend I might drive up and work with you all on yours and mine...

I want to get as much done as I can because I will be gone for a conference in Vegas from the 24th until the 2nd of May, not much time left after that until MCCC.
So I will let you know by Friday if I can come up and get directions.
