A properly made corset should not make it difficult to breath or the boning poking you. Where did you find this corset?
now that I have worn it a few times and gotten used to wearing it, it is actually comfy (especially for a cheap internet purchase)

If it's anything like a bodice, it may be a matter of learning to breathe up instead of out (per Lori)

Did a little more work on the costume this evening. Chest and back are primed and I think they're ready for paint (he might think otherwise...perfectionist!) Fit the pieces together and did all the necessary measurements for the shoulder straps and it's ready for final fitting. It's coming together quite nicely!

Me too! He's working on it right now. Hopefully he hasn't fallen asleep (again) out in the Man Cave! I caught him "napping" at the table out there earlier this evening....LOL! When he falls out of the chair, he'll wake up!

New pics coming soon!!

Your hat is cut and pinned (took longer, cause I lost my scaled patterns, so had to redraft the correct size pattern. GRRRR!). Anyways starting the sewing tonight. :D

The labor of love is finally complete...he finished it just before Motor City this weekend. I wore it Saturday and Sunday and I have to say, it's very comfy! Love, love, love my new armor! Thanks to Humper for the inspiration!!
