underarmor care

Post by Myshadowstar »

Ok well got myself some underarmor for coldweather trooping. Unfortunatly they only had black in my size so I'll have to get creative on how to hide it in the neck area. I may take some leftovers from jedi costume and do some sort neck wrap. The black pants won't be seen so those shouldn't be a problem.

Anyway my question is this. I know is says wash cold water. I assume gentle cycle. And I"ll prob do it alone to prevent other cloths transfering fuzzies. Now it says low heat drying would it be best to just not bother w dryer and let them air dry? and any other tips or tricks to making these puppies last as long as possible. I won't be using them a lot but I want to treat them well

thanks

I wash mine all by themselves in cold and then hang dry because I dont want to take any chances.

Ive washed mine, in cold, with all my other clothes and have had the same pair for almost 4yrs now. I put them in the dryer everytime and I have UA gear. You should be fine. They get more wear and tear from my armor then anything

Wags is right. Mine is pilling where my armor rubs on the edges. Initially i did not have it sanded smooth but that has since been corrected. For just keeping warm, you should have no problems.
