soooo for an on going IME project i've been reverse engineering droids (big surprise) for the basics of lengths heights and materials along with manufacturing process. and i recently came to the decision that "hey that be a lot of fun to build." the droid i've chosen to build is the WED Tredwell droid simply because i've never seen or heard of any one building it. how ever i couldn't do this on my own. id be happy to pay for any services you could offer. the main things i need help with are: locomotion/radio control, (if we decide it to move) metal fabrication for body work and armature, wheel and treads. we can tackle this with tons of different materials.
im hoping every one in the garrison will put in there two cents and help out and make something that turns a lot heads.
if you interested in doing one of the projects above PM and ill send you the current RE information ive collected.
cheers

Re: droid build input your two cents
The best place to find help with building any droid (not just an astromech) has got to be the R2-D2 Builders Group: http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/r2 ... d=98511646 or the Astromechs group (which is pretty much the same thing only in a forum) http://astromech.net/?q=node/1
