The knee bone's connected to the- OUCH!!!!

Post by DeafTrooper »

Ok, so I was doing a final fitting, putting on velcro to make sure things stay in place and I'm still having probs with the knees wanting to slide down. I even added industrial velcro to the straps to keep them from coming off. The velcro has helped a lot but still just not right. I think I may have to trim about half an inch off the bottom of the thighs. Seems like they keep hitting the knees and pushing them downwards. Also, the returns on the bottom of the thighs are pinching the heck out of my knees.

Any thoughts?

Put foam padding on the back of the bottom of the knee.

They are padded. I have the oscs pads. I also added velcro between the thighs and cod and from the cod to the ab section. They've seemed to have helped quite a bit but it just seems like the thighs are too long as they keep smacking the knees and pushing them down.

Cut your thighs on an angle so from the side it still looks long but cut off most of that triangle detail on the thigh. No one sees that anyway because the knee covers it. That's what I did...I was having the same problem.
