As stated in a different post, Dirty troopers have more fun. Plus its great, if you drop a piece, scrape against a wall, or do something that would make a clean trooper cringe, you can just chalk it up to 'natural' weathering!
Whats that....a crack in the armor? simple fix and some more dirt, and no one is the wiser!

You could polish it instead of painting it.
Rome I was thinking of going to Harbor Freight and getting some buffing wheels and a bench grinder so if you decide to go the polish route would be happy to help. I am seriously contemplating geting the Hips set and polishing it . What I really want to do is find a few pieces and practice on them before o go in on a whole set just to see how hard /easy it is.

Hi- I'm new but I just wanted to follow up in case anyone else got excited about the previously mentioned all black armor that was available via the link to CE. It appears that link and maybe the site? (is closed down now). I for one was bummed!
I tried to register at CE. It said my registration was successful and I would receive an email with instructions or a link (or something to that effect) "within 10 minutes, usually instantly" to complete the registration process. That was about 2 hours ago...standing by. Maybe they are still getting certain features up and running. I even checked my spam folder to be sure. I'll chime in when/ if it works.

Shoot them an e-mail and ask what number you are on the list. I'm not sure if it'll help but I figure that it's about six sets every month (give or take). I think that I'm #15, so hopefully in about 3-4 months I'll be getting an e-mail asking me for my hard earned moolah, it's on to the waiting game.
It's always better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
Just got my gloves from the guys @ PA today. They look and fit GREAT. I also picked up a pair of shoes to use for $40 at Sears the other day. Just need to "clonetize" them, then on to the armor........still waiting.
