Debuted the Sandie at today's double-header. Need to do:

- Apply the hand-plates and knee detail (thanks, Terrell!)
- Cut out more of the back of the legs
- Rework the helmet fan system

It kinda' feels like one!

Progress: trimmed and attached knee plate, trimmed hand-plates.

To do: add additional belt details, rework helmet fan.

TD approved at Legion level, but now I need to rebuild the backpack and some of its bells-n-whistles. The T-bit on top is just too flimsy, and is already falling apart (cheap, dollar store bats), so I've got more PVC to rebuild a new frame. Half the order is in my car because I bought the bits from Lowe's, and the other half is arriving today from flexpvc.com for parts that aren't sold at Lowe's, like the 4-way 90° side-out elbows, a 1" × 1¼" elbow, flat caps, etc.

I'm planning to make one angled spotlight over the right shoulder and make a radar dish over the left shoulder. The disc will be from the back of an eMac that I'm tossing into the recycle pile. Rather handy that I dropped on last week and saw how the back of it came off :P

My coworkers saw me drop and break an old computer. I saw me harvesting costuming parts....! :D

Within the network, it's unlimited. It's those intra-galactic charges that'll kill ya.

No pics yet but the frame is assembled and painting is almost done. Lights to be installed after all the painting is done, and then assembly can be completed.
