1.) No they are not of differnt fabric(I used the fabric I hand on hand which was all the Gab. Linen Blend)/Vader Ribbed.

2.)The hood/cape are all the same thing. Like I told you on myspace I only had 2 yards left of that fabric and yesterday I just un-notted the cape and sewed on the whole 2 yards. And hacked off what I didn't need. It's connected but I can't do much else until I got the other crown to figure what I need to get trimmed off.(I like the look it gives in the back, but my head killed me yesterday with nearly 1.5 yards still connected to that sucker.)

3.) The current skirt I don't think I'll be able to remove the stich without destorying the fabric. I used a tripple stich and the setting I used isn't easy to get out with the seam rippers. It'll give me that weathered/tattered look to it, but I'll have nothing to sew the seams down on.

Inner tunic:
* The inner tunic should be black and made from a slightly different material than the cape/hood, and outer layer.

Well I got Crown 0.2 now, but it's creator kept singing 'It's Mickey Mouse' :rotflmao: So Mickey Mouse 0.2 is off on the finished pile.

However, I like Crown 0.1 more...

But I can still wear it at non 501st events. I hardly doubt my fellow Anime buddies would notice a differance at the conventions. Well, aside from my buddy Jay. :villain:

I got another skirt cut out, I'll be fixing it up later tonight after work.

Now Rob...I got just the right Yards left to remake that shirt to do the rib like sleaves in Moleskin fabric. Same fabric my Jedi/Dark Jedi are made out of.
I can use the wrong side of the fabric OR the right side...However I'm up for debate on which to use.

Here is the new crown and yes...The cape/hood is going to get finished Friday now since I'll have an extra pair of hands placeing velcro to the proper places of the fabric which will help keep it in place and prevent it from falling/blowing back and I can sew it all down properly! :whew:
I'm going to get the final pictures up over the weekend, so after that...I'm going to send in the information and see how things go.

I still like crown 0.1 ....But here we go as Roger likes to call this one...Mickey Mouse 0.2!

Took some advice from another Nihilus on a different board and he said to do a stich on the sleaves. My moleskin fabric doesn't even look the same now with the stich.
I think it turned out rather well, but my back is protesting from sitting to do the stiches.

Looks good. The pin striping might not be the right thing though. I think he sleeves are supposed to be ribbed and not pin striped like a gangster suit.

ALMOST done with my 'quilted sleaves'

Here's a few minor progress shots, I think I do have a fair idea of how to tackle my hood/cape now so I might begin on that pesky thing later. :D

may have a problem with the sleeves. They look to have way to many lines in them. Think Vader. about 1" apart

Inner tunic:
* The inner tunic should be black and made from a slightly different material than the cape/hood, and outer layer.
* The inner tunic should be somewhat tight fighting with long sleeves.
* The sleeves should be quilted along the length, giving them a ribbed look similar to that of Darth Vader’s under suit.
* The inner tunic must be heavily tattered and holed along the bottom edge.

That fabric when I bought it had the lines already in it, not much I can do on altering that. I've finished Shirt 0.3 I'll still re-submit and see what she says it LOOKS quilted now, but dunno what more I can do.

I have that hood and cape left now to repair so moving onto that in a few minutes.
