Looking good! Now get down and get dirty! Dirty.... as in weather it up! :)

So... if someone grabs your gaffi stick... Who's going to chase it down for you?

We keep forgetting to take a lot of progress pics. And we decided to re-do the boots...again. But the helmet is done except for weathering, putting in screens, and hooking up his fans.

So, here are pics of his almost finished gaffi and his helmet.

It's what is called a bun foot that you sometimes find on couches to hold them off the ground. It was natural in color and me and Mark used a dremel to cut the design in it from the reference book. Then we stained it. He knows more of the details and I might have him post up a mini tutorial on it later if you all are interested.

We just got his arm wraps finished up tonight and should have the robe sewn by this weekend.

Too funny!! Well I am pretty well done with the actual construction, I may need to weather it up, but have full front and back hi res pics that were taken over the weekend in Ohio, complements of Alex Ford of the RL. As soon as I get them I will turn them in. I did a test run at The Washington school Star Wars night, so pics are up on that thread.

Duck, I do have the 'can', got it done on Thursday last week. Came out great!

I am also looking into making the outer robe soon.

Here are the final pics that were submitted to Terrell for approval. Thanks to Roger for all the help. I will get to test it out at the parade on Sunday.
