Looking great DarthFoo.

I would suggest you lower your shoulder bells some. They look like they are pulled up way too high toward your neck. I know the camera probably washes some of the weathering out, but the white areas look a little too clean for a RC.

Nice job overall.

I second Gator on the shoulder bells. You may also want to consider padding the shoulders to give yourself more of the linebacker look as well. Don't be afraid to weather, we all know that Sev is a bit crazy and gets dirty.

Yeah, I tried putting the shoulders on myself, so the velcro stuck where it wanted and movement is very limited. They can be repositioned very easily. I ran out of pipe insulation, but I planned to put some under each bell to hold them out a bit more. As far as the weathering, I do plan on adding a lot more. I wanted to get it complete and troopable (is that a word?) first. I can always throw more mud at it. I will be taking my 501st submission shots real soon!!! I am physched! I think for my first attempt at building any kind of armor, it came together pretty well. See you at the Griffins game in March....I hope (uncle Sam seems to always have other plans for me)

to answer your question....YES, troopable is a word! (at least as far as the 501st is concerned!)

and take it from this Sandtrooper.....one can never have enough weathering! :D

Foo... looks great!! Add the padding liked you talked and some more dirt and bingo. You will also find that an extra hand in putting on your armor is very appreciative  I still have to have a hand in putting on mine.. sheesh.... Looks great. Cant wait to troop with you!!!!!

YEEHAWW!!! I just got my 501st approval email. I am now RC 9807. Well, it's TK 9807 until they get me loaded as an RC, but I am offically accepted and have been assigned a number. It's a good day!
