So while I've been waiting on my armor kit i have been working on this Deece.I have more smoothing to do and adding some more things to it.
One problem i have is, i haven't been able to find a decent barrel for it, anyone have any ideas?

I would start over again from scratch using plastic sheet (like the RKD build on CT.net) from your hobby shop. Or, for about the same price, you could get yourself a very nice Woodchuck Deece. Honestly, a RC is hard to do inexpensively, I speak from a few builds of experience.

i would like to get a woodchuck dc, but I think it is too big for me and might look a little awkward.

If you're the average height and build for an RC, you should have no problem (over 6' and 225 lbs or more). If you are a smaller guy, you're going to look awkward in RC armor. Carrying a bigger gun might disguise the fact that you're wearing armor meant for someone larger.

I ordered the non-gaint sized armor so I don't see why I'd look awkward. Give my deece some time, I'll make it look good. Also, I honestly like the shape better then chuck's

Patience and time man. You can do it. Just invest in some sand paper. Start with a 320 grit. Then after the rough stuff is gone, go to a 400 or 600. I suggest some compressed air to blow off the dust when your done. After you finish with that, primer it with Automotive
"Filler" primer. That will fill in any crevices. Then go over it again with 600. Then, more air.
Then go with a 800 or 1000 if you feel crazy

. Should work out well. You have the basic shape, just need to give some attention to detail

So i have been doing some more work on my Deece.
what do you guys think of the barrel i put together for this?
well one thing that is really nice about this build is that since its made of paper and reinforced with crack filler foam...its very light, less then 1 pound.

I've got a ton of sand paper up to 1500 grit for the projects being done w/ a couple of mercs Adam.. Next time we get you to GR bring your deecee and we'll turn it over to triker... Just ask FOO what the man can do with bondo and his Sev helmet XD.

Thanks for the wise words jolly.
Also i decided to go with a wood chuck dc...i know i said i didn't like the shape, and i thought it was too big. but its only 4 inches longer then my scratch build, and the front half has amazing detail. So i think i can deal with the shape of the back half. when i saw chuck was doing a run i just had to jump in. (with the girlfriends permission lmao)

The chuck DC ain't bad, and if it does look awkward in your hands, i'll take it off your hands and you can get a Talon or such, they are a bit smaller. Cause i'm that good of a friend.
