Where did everyone get their trunks? I went to Lowes/Homeboy Depot/Walmart to check and all they had was:

It did not look big enough. The Vader robes would take up most of the room! Unless my eyes deceive me..

Thanks!

I got mine at Home Depot. It's a Stanley 50-gallon rolling trunk. My whole Vader fits in there if I pack it just right.

Home Depot seems to be the only place that carries the Stanley 50-gallon tote. They only keep about 2 at a time. So if your local store doesn't have one, check back later. Lowes carries a similar Stanley tote but it's much smaller. I have both. My larger one from Home Depot I use for my TK and the smaller one from Lowes I use for my X-wing pilot.

Beware that these are expensive totes. Last I heard they are closing in on $70. But, I think they are well worth it. They hold a ton of gear, they roll and you can sit on it. There are cheaper alternatives that I'm sure others will chime in with.

Saw these. They are smaller but a good price.

"Some" Lowes carry them, that's where I got mine for Vader and it was $60 at the time.

Home Depo and Lowe's is where you'll find the big rolling totes. I paid between $25-30 when I got mine and it holds all my costumes in that I don't need to put on hangers.

But if you're doing Vader...You honestly almost WANT to get another smaller tote box to keep just the helmet in for safety to prevent damange to it. That's normally the more expensive part of the whole outfit, depending what you have all done to it.

Thanks for the replys! I have to thank Mike P. again for his armor party because thats where I noticed his helmet box-----then a lightbulb went on above my head! Foam inserts...for the box. What kind (foam)should I use so I don't scratch the helmet? Get it at Michael's Art store or Lowes?
