So even though this is a good-guys only costume I figured everyone would still appreciate a WIP post.

Okay so I have been working somewhat diligently and here is where I stand.

Tunic: 100%
Broach: 50% (I have one that should work until I can make one)
Shoulder Armor: 25% (Pattern done)
Belt: 100%
Bag: 100%
Leggings: 100% (Pending your opinions on color)
Boots: 100%
Boot Wraps: 50%
Lightsaber: 0%

Belt after beveling and before dying

Belt all finished

And here I am with what I have done so far. Lightsaber is just my non functional one for my Jedi costume.

Okay I need opinion's on the legging color vs the tunic color, do you think they will work? Also any other comments are welcome.

hey cool work so far sis :) For leggings they are abit on the spring green side whereas tunic is a darker shade w maybe a hint more gray or blue in it. I'd see how they look in all light situations to say for sure. I wonder if you could dye the leggings alittle to make them not quite so bright ? I like the patterning you did for the shoulder pieces you curved them to fit your shoulders right? and are you cutting out the inset areas then or gluing strips together?

The shoulder armor is two layers basically.

I am going to return these somehow and try for a darker shade of green.

Update:
Made the boot straps thinner and longer.
Image
Then did a combination of "tea dying" with a splash of normal dye.
Image

Cut the leather from my pattern.
Image
Found something to shape my shoulder armor around.
Image
Image
Dyed the shorter shoulder armor while the longer one is being shaped.
Image

And finally added a little brown dye to the leggings and her is a comparison of the color.
Image

Tomorrow I should be able to dye the other shoulder piece, and glue the first one together and add a piece of Velcro to the underside. Might also add the opposing Velcro pieces to my tunic.

Okay very close to completion on this bad boy.

Finished my shoulder armor and attached velcro to them and my tunic.
Image

Last item I need to complete is the brooch, which I am making from scratch. The first picture is my inspiration for the design of the brooch, I will be making the final piece in resin painted silver with black highlights.

Okay so here are a few more detail pictures on the process of making my brooch.

First here are the wax models I made, it may be a little difficult to see the detail carvings
Image
Next is the mold of them, you can defiantly see the details here.
Image
And finally here is one out of the mold, painted and looking spiffy, I forgot to take a raw mold pic :(
Image

And now a drum roll please............. For your viewing pleasure I finished the costume tonight because my lightsaber came in the mail .^_^
