Great Lakes Garrison & Base

I just wanted to say I’m having so much fun. I’ve only been a member since May 2017 but I’ve done approximately 10 events of various sizes and venues. I also have the honor of meeting dozens of new people from many walks of life, all having fun. Some I have only communicated on Facebook and haven’t even met in person!

My only regret was not taking it seriously to complete my builds and joining sooner. It always seem like “I’ll get to it later.” Sure there is a huge commitment in time and money but to anyone on the fence, do it! Time’s a wastin’.

Thanks 501st, Great Lakes Garrison and even begrudgingly those scum in the Rebel Legion. My old aching old body hates it but my childhood minds loves it!

Better late than never. First wanted to join in 1999,but was starting law school then and didn’t have the time (or money) to build a costume. 15 years later, I finally made the plunge due to meeting Andy through a mutual friend.

So you all have to deal with me because of Andy.
