Yeh, I think I drilled out the bigger holes on mine and covered with mesh just for extra venting, beyond that don't think there was anything else painted.

Are you talking about the vent area? Picture might help some.

Looks like they should work, just needs to be filled in and evened out here and there.

Well....since they were tapped I figured I'd give it a shot and worst thing worst I could just remove the paint. Well, didn't think to ask...and to be honest.I had actually forgot about the stripes till earlier this week when I was getting prepped to weather....if you don't mind me buying the set offa you that's awesome. As for everything else, belts nearly paiinted, kama's affixed now and working on my straps...

I picked up a shade #5 green visor from airgas. Its dark enough that it looks blackish to the normal eye.
