You can call me Captain or Sir!

Call me Rex enough times and poof! .... http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q128/bswedorski/Rex/P7090516.jpg Photos sent into Terrell for approval. Here's the build thread although I went so damn fast there isn't a whole lot of progress shots. http://forum.clonetroopers.net/index.php?showtopic=17036

Re: Super Secret Build

Well Darren, Brian finally made an official post about handing over the molds to Terrell so it's no longer "Super Secret".

Got the thighs glued and the other shin has be been poly-flexed. Gonna give you your first taste of real sanding tomorrow.

Re: 41st Elite Clone w.i.p.

TK-4261 has an ongoing sale thread for fans. I use identical fans in my helmet but I bought the parts and built them myself. I think I got two for the price he charges for a single unit. batter case http://www.batteryspace.com/batteryholderfor9voltholderwithslidingcoverandswitch626awgwires-rohscompl...

Arc Trooper Foot Armor

So, I've now had an opportunity to do several troops in my Arc Trooper costume. I made it almost 4-1/2 hours my first night out and found a few pinch points and such that I intend to document how I corrected in another thread. One of the items that was particularly annoying was the foot armor. After...

Great work, although I can't imagine how bad the visibility is in those helmets :D

Thanks for the pics from Fridays Crim event.

Voice Amps

I'm planning on picking up one of the Aker Voice amps for my Arc. I was curious if any of you had experience with the either the PTT cable or the wireless headset? Or, if you have a basic unit do you wish you had one of those options now? I'm just deciding if I want to go basic or get the whole kit....

Kit looks great to my uneducated eyes :P

It is funny though how "off" the helmet looks without the mic tips.

Re: Animated Arc Trooper Updated 8-10-11

Picture of the mounting plate prior to glueing it in place. I cut down the plate by about 1/2" from where Steelblitz had it marked. This allowed the magnets to make direct contact with the recessed area of the backpiece. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q128/bswedorski/Arc%20Trooper/P8130391....

Re: Animated Arc Trooper Updated 8-10-11

This should be my last interim update thread. The only thing not done at this point is the kama. As soon as my wife has that complete it's just a quick reassembly of the cod piece and I'm photo ready :) Look for those pics in the next few days as I'm really trying to get approval before next weekend...

Re: 41st Elite Clone w.i.p.

Big updates! Finished both the helmet and the cod/butt piece. Close up of the fan system. The 2 small fans are blowing air out through the aerator. The big one is blowing air in through the mouth. I originally had it centered but my huge nose kept hitting the fan blades, so I moved it over to the s...

Re: Animated Arc Trooper Updated 8-10-11

I was quite suprised to come home yesterday and find a box containing by guns and backpack had arrived about 2 days earlier than projects. Of course I had lawn work to do etc (damn RL). I still managed to get the guns painted and began trimming and assembling the backpack. It's still going to be a t...

Re: Animated Arc Trooper Updated 7-26-11

Well, no major developments to really show for the last couple of weeks. About to head on vacation and I expect I'll have my boots, backpack and pistols waiting upon my return. In the mean time I did take care of a couple of minor things. The ever important transportation unit: http://i135.photobuck...

Re: Hyper should get this

I gotta say having a white leather would be awesome for those sunny days. Not to mention higher visibility. And this is the first one I've ever seen that wasn't specifically made for a female.
