Re: Can we use EVA foam?
You should read each CRL carefully for the details to see what is allowable for specific kits. I am a stormtrooper and found this for my kit. - The armor parts shall be made from one of these types of materials or like materials: White fiberglass, ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), HIPS (High Im...

We don't have an archive. Are you looking for the Giancarlo and Ming-Na pics? That is on our GLG FB page. I guess you can consider the FB page as our archives

Re: Armor pattern source?
I'm no GML but you'd have to go over it with a fine tooth comb to make sure all the details are included. There are plenty of armor makers out there who spend a lot of time doing the research for their kits already

Re: TK boots options ???
Imperial Boot has an odd ordering system. They only accept orders for a week. See their website for their schedule. When that week is up, they start manufacturing. You receive your boots like a month later.

Clamp 2 halves of a light saber around the bottom of support posts? Paint the rest of the post in light saber colors?

There are a number of troopers in the GR area but C19 probably has slowed down planned activities

ANH Stormtrooper here.
For gloves I use some from Home Depot. They have some sort of white printing on the back side but it's not issue as it's covered up by the hand plate. If it really bothers you, use a Sharpie to black it out.

Re: Cases for Armor transport/storage
The limiting factor is your vehicle. I have heard many stories of people who cannot fit their large totes into the backseat or trunk of a passenger car. I have no problem storing a Stormtrooper with helmet and a bunch of accessories inside the 50g Husky. You will learn how to pack your stuff pretty ...

Re: Iron Man/Spider Man Needed
I don't have Spiderman or Iron man but if they are willing to take a TK I can probably do it depending on the date and time. Also keep in mind one cannot drive in a TK so a changing place (even a small one) is needed. I am close enough to Warren and it turns out through business and personal family ...

Re: TK Helmet fan system recommendations?
I have Troopacoola fans. The Troopacoola fan installation is actually a great setup because the switch is where you can reach it easily with bucket on. Switch is mounted solid. To be honest I don't use the fans at all and leave the battery out 99% of the time. If I do I switch them on for 30 seconds...

5'9" isn't going to work. The pant legs would cover your feet like a onesie and the crotch will be halfway to your knees
