Re: Helmet Fans
So, you all fix them in flat? Does that allow the air to circulate alright?

Helmet Fans
How do you all mount your CPU helmet fans? Can you show me pictures of how you have yours set up? Especially Royal Guards...we're getting ready to put fans in Jason's helmet, but we're not sure what the best set up would be.

That bra thing just does not look comfortable! 'Course I'm a bit bigger than Keira...
Anxious to see more of your progress, Anna. It looks stunning so far!

Re: My New Project --------Warning "PIC HEAVY"
I just saw this on Saturday and it is stunning (if a pig face can be stunning!?!) great work. I'm an artist, but sculpting never has been my strong point, so I admire the work that goes into something like this!

For those with Royal Guard helmets...
Can you fit a fan in there? If so, where do you put it? Also, what do you use for padding & where do you place it? I'm working on my husband's Senate Guard helmet right now and have some ideas for the padding, but thought I'd ask those that have been trooping in similar helmets what they...

TOS Star Trek
Anyone familiar with TOS Star Trek costuming? I have a commission for a baby Spock uniform, but I don't know much about the [accurate] detailing. I know the sleeves are raglan style, and I'm pretty sure the tunic is made of velour. Other than that, I don't know much. Could anyone familiar with TOS T...

Re: Yuna for Dragon*Con (WIP)
Regardless, I can't wait to see pictures of the finished costume. You're attention to detail is awesome...this coming from the detail freak who had to hand embroider her entire Padmé ep3 aqua georgette gown because anything less was not good enough. http://costumesandartwork.blogspot.com/2009...

Re: Yuna for Dragon*Con (WIP)
It's looking awesome, Anna. I love the paint job on the obi. Wouldn't it have been easier to paint the skirt before the pleats were in?

What's the price for the toon armor? Obviously, Jason won't need the clone helmet.

Re: Senate Commando?
Our budget is pretty small, but we don't want junk either. We're in no hurry, but would love all the help we can get. Thanks guys! Sounds like an armor party is in the future.

He has decided that he does want to do the Senate Commando, specifically Captain Jayfon. So, we'll take all the help and guidance we can get!

Re: Senate Commando?
Thanks for the links, Blizz. I had found the clonetroopers.net and signed Jason up for that (username is Captain Jayfon ;)). Have you heard of TZA armor and helmets? How are they? If they're good, do they have a website? I saw that he makes animated clone armor (what Jason would need for Jayfon) and...

Senate Commando?
I'm working on a Senate Guard for my husband, which still isn't finished, however, while at Motor City Comic Con, he started getting bit by the "Commando bug". But, our base already has all four of the Deltas...so we sort of put the idea out of our heads. Until tonight I was doing a search...

Re: Help with props
I'd suggest craft foam, painted gold with an acrylic jem. That's how I did my daughter & my Jasmine costumes for Halloween. (I forgot my necklace in the rush, but the last picture of just the kids you can see my daughter's craft foam necklace) http://costumesandartwork.blogspot.com/2011/01/hallo...

Re: droid build input your two cents
The best place to find help with building any droid (not just an astromech) has got to be the R2-D2 Builders Group: http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/r2 ... d=98511646 or the Astromechs group (which is pretty much the same thing only in a forum) http://astromech.net/?q=node/1
