I would follow Pam's lead, she knows that costume inside and out. Personally, I don't like making changes / upgrades if I don't have to. I would wait to get the more accurate material and just make the jumpsuit once, rather than make it in a shiney PVC then end up making it again in matte some time ...

Are you really thinking of painting your Stormtrooper armor in a camo patern?

I would suggest you lower your shoulder bells some. They look like they are pulled up way too high toward your neck. I know the camera probably washes some of the weathering out, but the white areas look a little too clean for a RC.
