Awesome work, Jason! That is going to look incredible when it's finished. It looks incredible now! Whenever we can afford it, you are going to make my Jason a saber! I might even want one! :D

Re: Possible Jawa costume for my son??

I'm sorry, the uber costumer in me just has to mention...Jawa robes don't have separate sleeves. The robe is all one piece. The hood is a separate piece, at least they got that right. :) http://costumesandartwork.blogspot.com/2008/07/2-jawas.html http://costumesandartwork.blogspot.com/2008/09/jawa-h...

Re: Kids costume help

Any kids' costume pattern that is meant to be an animal will work, if you/Jackie are good with altering little details. If you can find a bear pattern, that would work best. Look for something that has a full body suit, that zips up the front or back, with a hood, mittens, and shoe covers. Sometimes...

Re: Imperial Officer Costume - Thumbs up or down??

I've just started researching the Imperial Officer uniforms (so I can sew them on commission when asked) but I don't know too much about the requirements yet. So, I'll offer my seamstress viewpoint...The shoulders seem a bit "poofy", but it could just be the way he's wearing it. The pants ...

Re: Hey all you AT-AT drivers....

I always wondered why the details and flight suit were grey when the helmet was white. It makes 100% sense that the helmet should be grey too! Nice link. I sent it on to the guy I sewed an AT-AT coverall for, I'm sure he'd like that article.

Re: Attn: Royal Guards

Cool, thanks. I had heard Ang was on vacation. Glad to hear that she's working on getting it back up.

If you have some ROTJ images, I'd love to get them from you. Especially any that show the right shoulder well. I am trying to figure out how I want to do the closure.

Thanks

Attn: Royal Guards

Do any of you frequent http://forcepike.com/ ? Do you know what's up with it...where'd it go? Is it coming back? :whatthe: I'm in the middle of sewing ROTJ robes for a man in Norway, kinda helpful if the site was actually working! Oh, and if anyone wants to share pictures of their robes without the ...

Helmet help?

I know the helmet I'm going for is actually considered Rebel Legion, but I figured my 501st brothers (& sisters) know more about helmets than anyone... My husband wants a Senate Guard/Blue Guard costume, the one from Episode 1 (and 2, I think) with the open face. My question is, is it possible t...
