Hello! Potential trooper signing in!

Hello! My name is Josh I am located around the Lansing area in Michigan. I am currently on the path to create a shoretrooper kit! This is my first attempt at making a 501st approved armor.

I have already introduced myself to the pathfinder detachment and started the process of planning and collection of all materials listed in the crl. I just wanted to introduce myself to my local garrison. Eventual goal would be to get to level 2 and join the vanguard but for now I'm focused on getting base line approval.

I have a little experience building out of EVA foam and a little experience with sewing. But this will be the first time I have attempted a hard armor.

If anyone has any resources or advice I would love to hear it! I most likely will be getting the ABS kit from imperial surplus but I am open to suggestions as well!


Attached is my Darth Revan cosplay. Eventually I would like to make a 501st approved Revan.
