Re: Waterford
I'm not an expert but I have most of my Anovos TK cut. I need assistance measuring and strapping. I'm in West Bloomfield so I'm not far at all.

Re: Waterford
Suit looks good. You definitely need to trim some off of the thighs for comforts sake as well as accuracy.
Have you submitted your photos to the GML (Ripcode on this site)?
If not, send them in with your application and he can give you a rundown of what you need to tweek for approval.
Were in Waterford are you located?

Let me know when you get some feedback from Ripcode and I may be able to help you make the mods.

I'm new to forums and what not...how do I contact him?
Re: Waterford
Or maybe we can meet up and you can see for yourself what needs to be done mainly the thighs and shin pieces they're a bit long. Other than that everything else fits fine.

Re: Waterford
Are you planning on cutting some off the top like I did? That's a piece of cake. If you're by OCC Highland Lakes we are less than 10 miles

Re: Waterford
See my pic. I traced a new line parallel to the existing edges and used a dremel wheel to take off an inch

Re: Waterford
Did you find any help around the area , I'm in ferndale and I got my armor a couple weeks ago , I've got it trimmed up and cleaned up but I'm scared to start glueing everything together. It would be great to get some guidance with everything. I have 3 days off a week and I'm willing to drive wherever to get some help with this stuff , the last thing I want to do is mess everything up . I'm used to working with metal and not plastics , if I screw up a piece of metal I know know how to fix that but plastic is a whole different animal.Mwaynick wrote:Mwaynick wrote:ShermiesRule wrote:See my pic. Re: Waterford
I'm in the home stretch on my AP build:
http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/3 ... c-therapy/
So I've recently gone through most of the build steps. I'm in the Bloomfield Hills area and could probably offer some assistance if anyone would like my help. I don't claim to be an expert at any of this but so far the feedback has been positive on what I've done. I also have some of the tools and stuff that may help you avoid buying some. I hope to be submitting my photos for approval by the end of this week.

I don't know of any armor parties coming up and don't have room to host one myself but if anyone need some advice feel free to PM me.

I'm in Waterford too. On Elizabeth Lake off Cass-Elizabeth road. Are you going to Motor City CC this weekend?
