Lightsaber Transport Method

Hi everyone,

How do you safely transport your saber to troops? I'd like to bring mine to Maker Faire, but don't want to damage the LED's inside the blade. PVC pipes? Pool noodles? I need advice!

I have a rifle case and a fishing rod case to transport mine.

I have a PVC pipe in my armor bin for the handle and the blade is attached to the inside of the armor bin cover with a twist wrap.
