Great Lakes Garrison & Base

Ok, so stupid me went about making boots by wrapping them with duct tape, wrinkling as I went, then spray painted them. They looked awesome. . . until my son walked in them. How could I have missed the obvious while making them. With each step, the tape crinkled and the paint flaked off. DUH! So, after cleaning up a trail of paint flakes, I ripped all the tape off and grabbed my hot glue gun and spray painted some strips of dyed monk's cloth left over from making the robe and hood.
