Ok this one will take awhile but thought I would toss up what I have done so far.
Tunic and Pants:
Got the pattern and fabric (polyester black suit material)
Hat:
Found pattern online gonna attempt to make lol.
Code Disks:
Still have to figure these out.
Belt:
Have Belt Blank and Dye
Still need Buckle, 2 boxes (thinking those metal mint containers), and a SIlver Rivet or disk.
Holster:
Waiting on the blaster to come in then will buy leather.
Blaster:
Ebay again bought a DL-44 hasn't arrived yet so only ebay pic available will fix when I get it in 1-2 weeks. Got the metalic, satin black, black primer, and dark brown paint to do. Depending on the condition may do some sanding. Where do you get that bondo stuff and what type of sandpaper is recommended to smooth and then later distress it?
Boots:
Got these online from
http://www.equestriancollections.com/pr ... e=ER90008u they prob have mens ones too.
Rank Bar:
Will have to figure out how to make.
Code Cylinders:
Got these on Ebay just need to paint tops blue. Bought the paint today.
Gloves:
Got these today at Jcpenny
I don't think I'm forgetting anything. Comments and suggestions appreciated
Thanks

Oh don't worry, y'all, we've been exchanging PMs
Heather, don't concern yourself with the rank badge. We can hook you up pretty easily on that one.

I send Elvis a email so hopeing to hear from him in next couple days. Next step is hijacking my mom to help me with the pattern and sewing since the machines are her's and 2 people seem to be able to do that stuff better than one!

Minor Update
Cut out the pattern pieces for pants. Got basic idea of what I want them to look like. Will be doing the fabric for them on the 26th if all goes well. Still trying to figure out all modifications needed for the tunic esp those pockets. Got a tutorial on it just have to see how it goes.
Also finished the code cylinders yay!
I think that blue should work.
OH quick question is the metal "pouches" on the officer belt modified altoid mint boxes?

For the belt pouch thingys, first. Are your going with a black uniform?? Just wondering cause they are the only guys with the pouch things. If so, then yes. You can use the altoid tins.

Rich:
Do you have the part number from tandy for them? I definately have one altoid box and I may be able to "borrow" another from a coworker. If I get number I can check at my local store and make the day trip up there since I have to get leather for my holster, some small snaps, and a blank buckle.
On side note I got my code disks today

woot !

ok got the gun. Question is do I need to bondo it first to hide the recessed screws and seams? And which bondo do I get I typed it in Lowes website and 5 different things come up is it the autobody filler? I saw where you talked about sand paper so I'll be getting a variety of grits for that part. Prob need to remove the battery too and electronics? Any ideas on where I can get plastic or glass to use in the scope part? Any other modifications recommended before I paint it all pretty?
thanks

lol coolbeans I was just worried if I leave battery in it may degrade and leak acid all over the inside after awhile. I had to toss a sweet flashlight when I had some acid ate through the metal and took out the bulb attachments. Course those were bigger batteries

As long as you don't bondo over the screw to the battery compartment, you can still access the batteries to change them. If you want to cover up the screw hole and don't want the sounds, make sure you take the batteries out first to be safe.

It's not a requirement, so you don't have to go through all of that if you don't want to.

Do you mean like a lens? Cause I have some clear acrylic. If you give me the size I can cut you out some pieces.

Wags that would be awsome
Here are measurements:
2.3 cm (14/16 in) to 2.4 cm (15/16 in) large scope and 1.8 cm (11/16 in) to 1.9 cm (3/4 in) smaller scope doesn't seem to be perfectly round lol, hence the range. Would be easier to let you see the blaster? not sure how to get the depth needed so it fits in the lip of the scope.
thanks
H
