So my tunic arrived today so I was able to put the finishing touches on my uniform. So here are a few test shots. I know the rank badge is crooked but we didn't catch it until we looked at the pics.

Looks good Allison. As Heather stated you will need to make sure the collar is closed. The shoes also look like they have a bit of a higher heel than they should.

This weekend we are going to add in the collar connector.

Regarding the shoes. They have a heel of 1.5 inches. My husband's Jack boots have a heel of 1 inch. Here is a better pic of the shoes.

On the IOC forum in the ISB CRL thread they recommend jodhpurs boots. Here is a pic of some jodhpurs boots that I found on amazon when I was first looking for shoes. According to the site they have a heel of 1 3/4th inches

So are these shoes still acceptable? They look almost identical to what I have.

Where did you get those boots from and about how much were they?

Thanks Shannon. That is more along the lines of what I was thinking.

The CRL states the following:
- Lace-less, ankle high boots/shoes with a conservative heel and no buckles, Velcro, snap fasteners or decorative stitching (Examples include jodhpurs boots or Oxford shoes.)
I was taking the "conservative heel" to mean about an inch or less. Maybe Rome, the Detachment Leader for the IOC, will chime in with his thoughts.

I got them at Jackson's Western Store in Wayland.
Here is the link for them on their website.

If you go to the store, they are located upstairs.

Yup, that's what the tag says "Made in China."

Allison, I spoke with Rome and he thinks the boots you have are acceptable enough for membership.

All I think you need to do now is close the collar and your good. :D
