I will be having an armor party March 26th. It would be a good time to finish up you projects before MCCC. I will be firing up the grill.
I have a lot of tools, so just ask if you need something.

I'm in...Thought I was gonna cut it close with my twin sisters birthday party which is on the 27...but it doesn't start until 2:00

Sounds like fun, I love armor parties. I'm just not sure what I'll be working on at the time.

You don't need to have anything to work on, just hang out. I am sure someone else will have extra items to work on if you are feeling motivated. I know I have a box fill of clone armor that need trimming.

I've been pointing this armor party thread out to a few people that have an open 501st application and who are not frequent visitors to our boards. I have a few more to contact and will try to get that done soon. Hopefully a few of them can make it out and we can help get them ready for approval.
I'm trying to keep my schedule open for this, so I can help out too. I won't know if I can make it until a day or two before.

I have been trying to work out a plan so that I can come to this. I do have a prior commitment in Detroit the same day--my Mom's dance competition. The other issue is that Mom does not know when her dance times are until a few days before-(I guess this is tradition?)
How long is this party going on? I might work out that I go to the dance thing, then come to the party.

Thanks for possibly holding a spot for me-I desperatly need this!!


Update: Mom's dance thing is 30 minutes away by car.

Also: Does anyone have a better tool (other than an awl) for poking holes in leather?

I will definately be there...and I will be making use of this time to be very productive. Gotta have my armor done. LOL. I keep saying I'll make the time, but art projects keep rolling in and delay me.
