That could set a dangerous precedent, actually.

I think this will open the "flood gates" for more armor builders wanting to make a quick buck, and probably of insuperior quality too.
Here's the same article but with video, check out the bucket at 2:40mins, definately not 501st approved!

This ruling has also sealed the deal that many big name move directors will not make a movie in the UK again.

Mr Ainsworth was technically guilty of not participating in a proper licensing agreement to sell his merchandise. Maybe he was intentionally cutting his overhead costs, maybe LFL had refused him a licensing deal, the article that I read didn't get into the origin of the conflict.
Unless there are larger barriers to entering into the proper licensing deals for the merchandise than I am aware of, licensing shouldn't be a barrier to that business - the costs normally get passed on to the customer.
By specifically citing that Ainsworth is in violation of U.S. copyright laws, the court actually set a good precedent - if there were none previously set (but I'm fairly certain that there are good IP agreements between the US and Britain). This is a decision that can be cited in future intellectual property cases.
While Mr Ainsworth cannot sell his wares to customers in the United States, he could conceivably sell them to customers in other nations. Anyone have a post office box in Canada?

would this had any effect on 501st stuff? Or will it not matter if members outside the US use him as a source?
