Anyone in the East Lansing area have a spare leather hole puncher? Can't seem to find mine that I brought up to the dorm room with me.

Power drill works the same way, if you're just making normal holes in leather.

Would use that, but they don't allow power tools in the dorms....one of the reasons why I usually get work done at home or at Armor Parties

Hm...I'd have to check with the hammer, I know they allow us screwdrivers, wrenches, but I've never seen anyone, outside of maintenance, using a hammer. Hell I don't think I've heard anyone use one outside of the workshops

They still make manual/hand drills.

I hope the local hardware store has em, as it's a no go for hammers.
Why? I have no friggin clue...

I've got one of those.

I've never had to use it but I've got one.

Ice pick? or a really small screwdriver?

They didn't let me bring my ice pick in...nor my pick axe
Haven't seen any tiny screwdrivers yet, all I've seen so far are just, standard Philips head

The whole problem with this scenario is that he actually asked in the first place

I seem to recall there being a no keg rule in my dorm but that didn't stop me when I was in college.

Like I said in the other thread, scissors.
Use the thin blade, apply the point to where you want to open the hole, and start digging.
Creativity and improvisation are the names of this game.

You said you can have wrenches, so turn the wrench sideways and use the wide flat side as a hammer. I’ve done this more time than I can count if I didn’t have a hammer.

It's Alan wrenches that we have, and small crescent wrenches, nothing bigger than what would be used when putting a bed together. Standard size screwdrivers as well.
I think it's due to the fact that since many students here tend to drink, having tools around when they are inebriated would be a rather bad mix.
As for scissors, don't have a set on me but I can always buy some....or just have my family bring a hole puncher when they come up for the game this weekend, that would be cheaper.
I have this odd feeling that's where I left it.

Just make sure that you buy some like these....
I don't think your dorm would allow the sharp, pointy kind.

He's going to college and living in the dorm - it's a lot closer to this than you might think!!

OOOOH! I love those! they make everything so much easier!
And at least cafeteria food isn't as bad as it used to be...otherwise I'd think it was a correctional facility
