I am a petite 5'3" female and want to be a storm trooper!! Is it possible??

No height requirement.

You might have to trim down the armor a bit.

There are female 501st troopers that put hidden wedge insoles inside their trooper boots which will add a couple inches of extra height into the costume. Plus the helmet can add an inch or so, depending on how you position it on your head.

Does the armor come in one size? I am on the wait list for Terrell but does he scale down to my size? Ugh so many questions but thankfully I have all of you guys for help!!

All armor vendors scale their armor to one size. You have to property trim various pieces to fit your own proportions. Get with some of the locals who actually own their own TK costumes when your armor arrives and then can help with this part.

The bad part is that I dont think that no one is close enough to me to work with me on it...plus I have NO TOOLS!! Here is a picture so that you might be able to see what I mean about scaling down...

Yeah, I can see the pics. I will Facebook friend you. That armor you are showing in your pics is scaled larger than the ATA armor is, so the ATA stuff will be easier to work with. I didn't know you already had a set of armor already.

FB friend request sent. What you could do is build the incoming ATA suit to yourself, and slap your husband in the one shown in those pictures. It would probably need very little mods to finish it off to his size.

Mr Fett is right. That suit is too big for you. It is a suit based off the "FX" mold which runs larger than the movie accurate armor. You are better off with a smaller set like AP or ATA. I know ATA has a long waitlist but it will be worth the wait in the long run. However, due to your height, you will still have to make adjustments to any armor you get. It will be hard work but not impossible.

Exactly.

Or look into an armor/soft goods hybrid costume like a Bikerscout, Snowtrooper, Tie Pilot, etc.... Your height will not be an issue there and you still get to wear a helmet and some armor.

You will definitely need a smaller helmet with that armor or you will look like a bobble head once that armor is trimmed down. (assuming it can be done).

Not that you can't do a TK, but a Biker Scout is an outstanding alternative for the smaller trooper.

This isn't mine its a set that we could purchase but I do agree it would probably fit the hubby more than myself and I really do want to be a stormtrooper as they were always my favorite! But since the good Lord made me short it seems to sometimes make things harder for me!! He hasn't even taken the time to try it on since it's douple xp weekend on SWTOR. I am dying to start on this but I always have been an eager person!! When I get my mind set on something I am ready to get on it...asap!! I have thought about being the stormtrooper for such a long time that I haven't even opened myself to another costume!! I will give the CRL a lookover and see what other options there are!! I will also take a look at the suggested costumes and see what I like even if I select something else now and get approval I can always continue work on a trooper on my down time!! Yep. She did the internal shoe wedge lifts as well, and being 5'7" in costume is VERY close to screen accurate height. No matter what event Stormtroopers are at, someone in the crowd will always throw out the "Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper" line. Doesn't matter if the guy is 6'2", someone will always say it cause it seems to be the only line they remember. The original ANH Stormtroopers seen on screen were said to be between 5'8" and 5'11" WITH THE COSTUMES ON. All of us guys who are 6' tall barefoot are actually TOO TALL to be accurate Stormtroopers.
