MCCC Volunteering ???

Hello all,

I am still waiting on my legion ID information but I am marked as ready for duty as of today. If possible I would love to start trooping this weekend at the MCCC, but I was having trouble finding the event link if there is one. Regardless of trooping or not I plan to be there the whole weekend and look forward to meeting everyone.

I've seen that Ripcode approved you so you are good to go for trooping MCCC. We have a changing area designated for us that's behind the legion booth. Read over the MCCC threads. There's a lot of info in there that you will want to know about.

First troop is MCCC? Wow. Nothing like jumping right in. They will all seem easy after this.

Wags' first event was the Thanksgiving Parade! Talk about a total let-down for every other event he's done since!

I've ran across people whose first ever convention was Dragon Con. Talk about every other local comic con you go to look like a huge let-down after that.

The good thing about a Con is it's a very relaxed environment wear you can take your bucket off and B.S. at any time. You will meet a lot of people who's names you will all forget.

My first troop ever was Celebration 3. Yeah, the big troops are kind of fun as a first event ever!

I am excited that is for sure I posted this earlier, but where would I bring/ store my armor to when not in use and should I arrive early to bring it in ?? Debating if I will have it there on Friday, but for sure Saturday and Sunday. Am a safe in saying a hot car is not the place for armor lol ?? My fans are installed so I am all set there. I used to do mascot stuff some time back in school (long time ago lol and tried out in college) so I am used to heat

You can store your tote in our changing area. Once you come in find the Legion booth and someone will direct you to the changing area.

Welcome to the 501st My first troop was at MCCC and had really great time and at the time
I was in at the time Droid Hunt the group I was in we came in third but still had a lot of fun

San Diego Comic Con was the first time I'd done
table duty. Took me five days to find the table!

Would like to maybe be able to meet up and possibly see what being in 501st is like. I'm working on 2 costumes at the moment (snow trooper and biker scout) and would love to possibly see what GLG is all about. WIll be at MCCC tomorrow for most of the day. [ I am the former alias of trooper_pawz216 but cannot for the life of me figure out what I did with the doggone password and my email I used for that account is being rather funny]. Look forward to possibly meeting you all!
