Planning thread for anyone in the metro Ann Arbor area to plan TK armor parties for building all these incoming Anovos armor kits. Find each other here and plan out locations, dates and times.

Hopefully, at least one existing TK will be at the armor party with their own armor to show inexperienced people what finished TK parts look like up close.

Is there anyone in the AA area wanting to get together to work on building the TK?

I definitely feel obligated to tell everyone that I do have a kit but I'm trying to finish my TS first.
Being in A2, I definitely want to party it up

P.S. my helmet is a little warped. I've actually noticed that it's an issue from the packaging with others as well.

That can be corrected. Blow dryer or hot air gun.

I am down for an Armor Party, probably working more on my TB vs TK stuff. Still have an untouched suit sitting in the basement. Still determining what I want to turn it in to lol

Brewski, bring along your TK when you go, so they can see what an accurate one with the butt-jointed parts looks like up close.

I would be interested I have a few finishing touches to the tk I have been working on and parts for my mando.

I might have posted too soon?! I just made a note on the thread for the Clawson armor party, but Ann Arbor is probably closer for me (I'm coming from Holland). Has a date been set for an Ann Arbor armor party (say THAT three times fast)? Brand noob ANOVOS builder, here, looking for all the guidance I can get. (But I can provide beer, snacks, pizza, etc., just ask Ripcode!) I'd be interested in trucking over from Holland.

I have a na anovos kit I need to build. My Current FX will then become a TD. Kim and I are looking at a House in Ypsi that if we get it the house will be my priority. I would be happy to help anyone else in the area work on theirs in the meantime. .

Yes. People will come work on their armor if you have one. Doesn't matter that you will be working on Ghostbusters stuff.

Come August I'll have a barn at my new house we can use for an armor party.

I'm working on a date with my roommates now we're shooting mid to end August.

What day(s) of the week do people perfer to have an armor party and what time(s)? I'm trying to plan it to accommodate the most people.

AA is not that far but further than after work. I am 80% done and just need assistance fitting on straps and snaps. A couple weekends in August are bad for me. Oh well.

What costume are you working on and yes I have Leia and mara I haven't worn my jedi in awhile.
