Great Lakes Garrison & Base

Hi Troopers,

Sorry that I’ve been busy with work and closing my dad’s estate. However, I wanted to share that I snuck back down to North Carolina and trooped with Carolina Garrison and Blue Ridge Base back in July at GalaxyCon. I posted pictures on my Facebook page but I wanted to share that I got a chance to meet Emily Swallow and escorted her to a few photo ops. It was great to hang out with my former garrison and base and see a lot of my old friends. In addition, we celebrated my doctoral graduation and re-lived old times.

I’m not sure how to post the pictures or a formal Mission Report but I wanted to share the experience with this Garrison as we roll around with the census. I can always repost the pictures to my photography page Deer Run Photography on Facebook for proof.

Hi Jane. You can definitely get TOD credit for that troop. It sounds like you had a great time. Please send the date of the troop with the event name and a pic to one of our Garrison Event Coordinators (Skykat or TK48420) and they can get that updated for you. And feel free to go ahead and include it on your census.

Also, my condolences for the loss of your father.
