For the skin, I will be using a synthetic sued upholstery fabric that has a great fleshy texture to it. I will have to use upholstery spray paint (dark tan) because it is currently a dark crimson.

A quick progress update- I'm having to go with sculpting wire for sure due to weight concerns, but all else will remain. (Shawn, yea, it's carpet padding. Gives it a nice tissue feel.) Thanks for the encouragement troops!!

				Update, yay!!!
Bought fabric for the tunic tonight and it is being dyed as I type. Then I will be able to sew it all up in a few days. Pants ( shorts actually) are done. If the muscle suite fails to work for the legs I am going to attempt to make a clay sculpt and have a friend of mine help cast them in his basement shop. ( he sculpts and casts horror masks of foam latex) That would be a whole lot of work and considering I have no clue what I am doing, I hope I don't have to. Although that is how we learn. I will continue to bungle through this project, as I do in life until it is done and hopefully in the end, I will be wiser.

It's looking really good, but that sucker is heavy! I got to try it on last night

Don't let me forget Paul to show you that fabric whenever I run into you next. It's still the same fabric type you want, and colorwise it matches what you told me.
I own too much fabric, two totes full...

I'm really looking forward to seeing this come to life. The Hammerhead figure was one of my favorites when I was a little kid.

I know, I'm a bum. I am hoping to get re-started on this as soon as I can. Just juggling a few projects at the moment.
