The "Salsa" is Done!!! ---> CT-3411
Well...since my hubby had so many extra clone parts laying around we decided to put them to use. He's now busy starting to work on my Commander Thire...there's always room for another clone commander isn't there? (I would do a regular shock trooper but I really don't want to wear a butt plate ) We're missing a few pieces but there's enough there for him to get started. Unfortunately, my biker scout is going to be put on hold for a while (sorry Kelly and Pesci)...but I WILL have my scout someday. I have to do something to keep him busy in the man cave...heck, by the time he's done we'll have one of everything!
He's been dying to start posting pics so I figured I'd start the thread for him. Time to buy some more bandaids as he's back at the "trimming" and "sanding" process once again. We'll be lucky if he has all his fingers when this is done!
So, sit back and enjoy...I'm sure Tony will be posting pics before the weekend is over.

Yes, the wife has gone clone!!!! I just ordered the bucket and a few other things, and as of friday, my plant closes and I will have a lot of free time again, so she should be done quick. I will post up some pics as soon as I can.

Re: Jackie's Thire Build
Well, I started on the helmet tonight. Very little sanding to do. I should have paint on it this week, I drilled out the aerators that I picked up from Ripcode and will put some metal screen in for more air movement for her. I will post some pics this week.
Also, we picked up her shoes and red vinyl. I will get her material for her Kama this week and get that done as well. Pics to come soooooonnnnn!!!!!

Pictures of the progress thus far:
http://s193.photobucket.com/albums/z9/t ... e%20Build/
Visor has been cut out on the helmet, it's been sanded and the first coat of paint is on!
Begun to work a bit on the shoes too. Laces are gone and elastic is now in place. They still slip off my feet a bit when I walk so I'm hoping that when we add the extra vinyl to them it will help keep them on. Walking out of my shoes while trooping is not an option!
Finally the guns have been sanded and we're prepping for the first coat of paint.
So far it's coming along well...I'm excited!

Re: Jackie's Thire Build
Ok so new pics. I modified a set of EVO3 areators that were solid resin, drilled them and added a piece of metal screen. Painted the pistols and spent 4 HOURS taping the helmet. Holy crap was that a lot of work. But fun. It would have helped if I had gotten more ref pics BEFORE I started taping. No biggie, but I did get paint on it. Oh, yea, I also got the holsters glued together and will be filling and sanding the seams tonight.
We will be going on vacation to the lake after the Whitcaps game, so I am draging the portabel Armory to the lake and hopefully have a lot off pics to show after we get back.

Re: Jackie's Thire Build
The Shocktrooper came with us on vacation and much progress was made. The helmet is just about complete - just need a visor and some additional padding inside and it will be 100%.
Tony spent many hours in the mobile armory and finished the guns and holsters also. One shin has been trimmed down to my size and we're excited that we can make them seamless.
My original clone shoes are now scrapped as I bought a better pair on vacation. So...they need to be modified also.
More time was spent in the man cave yesterday and my hand plates are trimmed and the first coat of paint is on. I'm getting anxious...Tony's deadline is to have me done by Clone Wars!
Just waiting on a box of OSCS parts to come in the mail this week to work on more! Yipee!!
Here's the updated photo thread...

NOOKA!
Let’s face it; being tracked down by the empire is far more fun for a 5yo than looking at props behind glass.
